Our company has newly installed a set of electrodesalination ultrasonic demulsification equipment. Are there any applications that make use of ultrasonic demulsification? What are the best operating conditions?

My electrodialysis parameters are: temperature of 110°C, pressure of 1.0 MPa; water injection at 5 Th/h for the first stage and 5 T/h for the second stage. The pressure difference is around 30 KPa. Before desalination, the value is around 40, while it remains unstable after desalination – it can reach 8 in good conditions and around 30 in poor conditions. Ultrasonic demulsification is being used, with the power set at around 220W. Experts, please analyze the reason for this.

There are still many ways to adjust the salt content after desalination; the choice of desalinating agent as well as the heat exchange temperature can also be adjusted – raise the temperature to 120°C and control the water injection rate at around 3%. Appropriate adjustments can have a significant impact on both temperature and the desalinating agent used.
The application of this technology of electrodesalination combined with ultrasonic demulsification should be adjusted by the manufacturer, who determines the operating parameters for ultrasonic demulsification based on the properties of the crude oil and the oil-water interface level resulting from electrodesalination. It works quite well for us, but a major reason is probably the high quality of the crude oil! Basic parameters: electrodialysis temperature 130°C, pressure 1.4 MPa; water injection rate at the first stage 17 Th/h and at the second stage 11 T/h; pressure difference around 160 KPa; value before desalination 20±, value after desalination 2±; desalination efficiency around 90%.

Basic parameters: electrodesalination temperature of 125°C, pressure of 1.0 MPa; water injection rate at the first stage is 7 T/h and at the second stage it is 5 T/h. The pressure difference is around 60 KPa. The value before desalination is 20±, and after desalination it is 2±. The desalination efficiency is approximately 100%.

Try increasing the water injection volume by 5% of the processing capacity per stage; set the temperature at 130, the pressure at 1.4, the mixing pressure difference at 80, and the water injection rate at 20 t/h. The salt content after separation is 2
