I would like to ask the experts here: I have a heat transfer oil furnace, with a thermistor installed on its outlet pipe to measure the oil temperature; the reading is displayed on a digital indicator. What methods can be used to implement a temperature alarm, so that an audible and visual alert is given when the temperature exceeds a set value? I would appreciate your advice.
Set an upper-limit alarm; connect another alarm device, either a bell or a sound and light alarm will work. The digital display itself can only have a small light that flashes – there is no sound, so it goes unnoticed if not paid attention to.

A thermoresistor is used to measure the oil temperature, with the temperature displayed via a digital display. The digital display unit must have an alarm output function, with the alarm set values configured on it. The alarm output terminal of the digital display is connected to a bell and a light alarm; sound and light alerts are triggered when the measured value exceeds the set value. A confirmation button is also used to enable the mute function.
This is too simple. The key is to see whether your heating equipment uses electricity or fuel, etc. Personally, I think adding a maximum temperature alarm is going after the wrong thing. It’s better to add a temperature interlock directly. It’s not particularly complicated either.
