I need to work on my graduation thesis. My supervisor has asked me to find a corrosion inhibitor on my own and study its effect on carbon steel in terms of cyclic erosion. He wants me to use an inhibitor that has not been used anywhere before, both domestically and internationally; in other words, one that hasn’t been utilized in any previous research papers. The molecular weight of this inhibitor should be greater than 400. How should I proceed? Any inhibitor that can be found online has probably already been the subject of research papers.
Corrosion inhibitors that have not been used domestically or internationally, and those with a molecular weight of over 400 – it’s really not easy to find them! It seems a bit difficult!
