It’s not necessary to specify the order details; just indicate that it is PT100. However, the material, insertion length, installation method, accuracy grade, and explosion protection rating must be specified.

Thermal resistors are classified into Grade A and Grade B; if designed by a design institute, the accuracy grade is usually specified; At the same time, attention must also be paid to the properties of the medium – whether a special material for the coating is required – and issues such as flow rate may also come into play. Therefore, it is best to contact the manufacturer of the thermal resistor to find out what parameters they need.
The temperature range needs to be specified; -200 to 500 represents the overall range, while the typical temperature measurement range for thin-film platinum resistors is -50 to 500. So you need to specify both the actual operating temperature and the maximum operating temperature. The pressure rating for the flange connection should also be provided; it would be best to include the connection method you used previously as well, so that the manufacturer can help determine the appropriate parameters.
It’s not all mentioned above; temperature is also related to the choice of outer protective tube, which is very important.
