We currently have a waste liquid of copper sulfate at 3%–4% concentration in our production process, as well as a waste liquid of nickel sulfate with a similar concentration; we would like to convert these into solid forms for sale and recycling. I’m not sure what approach would be better? A sulfuric acid system of 5–10%. The purity of the solution can be controlled by oneself. Is it cost-effective to use electrolysis? Is there economic value? Thank you all for your feedback!
It might be possible to consider adding copper for neutralization, then extracting copper sulfate before proceeding with electrowinning to remove copper; after removing copper, nickel sulfate can be extracted. Of course, it is evaluated based on your actual volume and the capacity of the equipment you have.
Reply to 2# Yang Qing, thank you. These two are separate copper waste solutions and nickel waste solutions, not a mixture.

It should be to first extract copper, and then precipitate the remaining nickel sulfate solution using sodium carbonate in order to recover nickel carbonate. . .
