The stripping tower is a tray tower; the temperature at the top of the tower is 80 degrees, at the bottom it is 120 degrees, and in the middle section it is 100 degrees. The pressure is 0.15 MPa. During maintenance, all the trays fall off
What do you mean? Do you want to ask the reason? What do you all think, sea friends?
Do you want to ask why all the trays have fallen off? If it’s this issue, I personally think it’s due to strong upward airflow during operation, which flips the tray over.
OP, what question do you want to ask? I work in the field of vacuum and atmospheric distillation; if you have any doubts, we can discuss them. Regarding the issue of the trays being flipped over, I think the most likely cause is an excessive amount of stripping steam. I’m not sure what kind of installation you have!
One might ask: The temperature gradient is normal, the pressure is normal as well, and the pressure drop is normal too – so why can’t it be determined from a process perspective that the tray has flipped over?
The main reason for the tray flipping is an excessive rising heat load, which can be reflected on the differential pressure gauge
There is a large amount of washing water entering the tower, resulting in high load
