1. Why can’t the pressure reach the normal operating parameters during air testing of reciprocating compressors? (Operational operation refers to coke oven gas.) 2. Why do some pipes need to have their diameter changed? What are the reasons and bases for this? I hope experts can give some advice to me
Diameter conversion is used when the nominal diameters of the valve and the pipeline (or between pipelines) do not match – in order to save money or make use of existing materials. In such cases, it is not possible to connect the valve to the pipeline (or pipelines together) using standard flanges, threads, or welding. At this point, a fitting that can be connected directly to the valve on one end and directly to the pipeline on the other end is needed (it can be manufactured locally or purchased externally). Such a fitting is commonly known as a \"reduce tee\" and serves to change the pipe diameter through the use of connecting pipes.
