Have any of you who work with marine systems used the link transmission function in Yokogawa SIS? I have a problem: I want to use a DO in SIS to control a switch in the DCS, without having to communicate with the DCS through the SI-1 module and instead using logic to trigger the action. The SIS has a LINK TRANSMISSION function; I have been studying the relevant materials for two days yet still haven’t figured out how to communicate with the Global switch using the LTSND function block. On the other hand, communication from the DCS global switch to the SIS side can be achieved through LTFCS. How can I use LINK TRANSMISSION to transfer SIS data to DCS?
