Our company previously used centrifugal pumps with an export-rated pressure of 0.75 MPa and a head of 75 M to transport condensate. Now, in order to simplify the process and avoid the need for post-treatment equipment, we plan to use pumps with a rated pressure of 0.45 MPa and a head of 45 M for transporting condensate. Is it sufficient to reduce the flow rate? I’d like to ask for advice
In cases like this, the pump remains under pressure. I’m worried it might have a negative impact on the pump.

Let’s not even talk about the necessity of investing in such things; it’s not really a case of using a heavy vehicle for a minor task, because the amount of work done remains the same – only the volume loss is greater. Mainly in the following: 1, will holding back pressure cause the pump shaft to shift? Is it causing problems with the bearings? And issues with the mechanical seal as well? After all, such high pressure – could it have an impact on the mechanical seal? 2. As for whether heat can be carried away, there shouldn’t be any problem with that
You can try contacting the pump manufacturer to have the impeller of the centrifugal pump cut
Cut the impeller; it should solve your problem easily

The pressure of the centrifugal pump does not drop; it only consumes energy
Replacing the pump directly is both economical and trouble-free! This pump can be used elsewhere. If the pump is not replaced, a cutting impeller should also work, but accurate calculation is required.
