It is reported that the pilot plant for the production of epichlorohydrin using glycerol, with a capacity of 5,000 tons per year, at Jiangsu Jielilei Daily Chemicals is set to begin operations in May. The company’s predecessor, Jiangsu Huaiyin Guanghua Chemical Factory, has over 60 years of experience in producing soaps and glycerol; it could produce 60,000 tons of soap bars per year and 10,000 tons of glycerol per year.
