When our factory was purchasing synthetic transition pipes, we found that large pipes made of this material, especially those with a diameter of DN480 or more, are difficult to find. Is there any material that can be used as a substitute? Can stainless steel 304 be used as a substitute?
I work with steel-lined PTFE! Could I learn about your operating conditions?
China: 15CrMo, GB5310-2008; USA: T12, T11, ASME SA213; Former Soviet Union: 15MXH, STBA22, STBA23; France: 12CD4; Germany: 13CrMo44, DIN17175; UK: 620, 621; Czech Republic: 15121; Sweden: HT7
A335 GR.P11 is also an option; 304L, 316, and 321 are good choices as well. Generally, seamless pipes with a diameter of over 20 inches are hard to find in China, so one has to purchase them from abroad!
