In our plant, the service life of the ammonia release valves in the 320kg ammonia synthesis system is less than half a year on average. I’m not sure why; what type of valve could help extend this service life? Can it increase the safety factor?

For the ammonia release valve in ammonia synthesis, a throttle valve should be used, and the valve diameter must be selected appropriately; either too large or too small a diameter can cause erosion and wear of the valve core, thereby affecting its service life.
