It seems the original poster didn’t make things very clear? Is there a path with 273? It should be the outer wall diameter; accordingly, the nominal diameter would be DN250. If it’s a quick-cut valve, a valve with the same diameter can be chosen, while for control valves, a valve with one size smaller in diameter, such as DN200 or DN150, can be selected. This depends on the flow rate and the pressure difference before and after the valve. The range of values you provided is too wide to allow for an accurate determination
The relationship between the diameter of the electric valve and the diameter of the connecting pipeline is determined by the pressure difference before and after the electric valve; the greater the pressure difference, the smaller the diameter of the electric valve that should be chosen.
Choose pipes with a large diameter to minimize flow velocity and reduce wear, especially at elbows. The control valve can be of DN200 size; all other components should have the same diameter

Since control valves require precise control, their diameter cannot be too large; therefore, diameter changes are often incorporated in the pipelines. There shouldn’t be any pipes with DN273 in the DN series; it should be DN250. So, if an electric valve is to be used, a DN250 pipe will suffice, while the control valve can be slightly smaller in size.
