How is the accuracy of frame and strip level gauges measured?
Place the level on the flat surface; once the bubble stabilizes, record its position and the error value (in units of grid squares). Note down the placement location as well. Then rotate the level 180° and place it back in its original position (this is very important). Record the error value again, and subtract the two values from each other – the resulting figure represents the true accuracy of the level.
