Several centrifugal pumps in our company are always operating under vacuum conditions, and the pump casings end up cracking (due to stress). Is there a suitable type of pump for this situation?
It is best to make adjustments to the process and operation; ordinary centrifugal pumps cannot operate under evacuated conditions. If operation under evacuated conditions is required over a long period, a different type of pump must be chosen. Generally, positive displacement pumps can meet your requirements.

Although pneumatic pumps and hose pumps can evacuate a volume in a short time, when operated for extended periods, the pumps will be damaged quickly, resulting in high costs.
