I often hear people mention the concept of back pressure; this parameter is also referred to in control valves. Those who know about it could please provide an explanation. Thank you.
Back pressure is the pressure in the outlet system of a device or pipeline; in this case, it refers to the pressure in the pipeline behind the control valve.
Generally, safety valves are referred to that way; control valves, on the other hand, are usually called by the pressure before the valve and the pressure after the valve
