Dear everyone: The initial design for the urine tank specified a plate thickness of 8 MM, but this was changed to 10 MM in the final version. Plates with a thickness of 8 MM have already been purchased based on the initial design. At this point, it’s a bit late to change the materials without affecting the project schedule. Is it possible to use the 8 MM plates anyway? The storage tank has a capacity of 300 cubic meters; do anyone have any good construction methods or suggestions regarding whether these plates can be used?
After communicating with the design institute, it should be fine to add reinforcement bars externally or internally.
Have seen 350M3 urine tanks; the cylinder and bottom plate are 6MM thick, while the top cover is 5MM thick. The material used is 00CR19NI0
