Why can’t too many convective tubes be arranged on a cylindrical furnace? Is it due to the issue of heat absorption, or is it related to the structural aspects?
If the fuel contains sulfur, the flue gas temperature is too low, leading to dew point corrosion of the furnace tubes or the external steel structure. If sulfur is not present, the convection tubes can be arranged arbitrarily, but economic feasibility must be taken into account
