It is necessary to select the appropriate type and material of packing based on the properties, temperature, and pressure of the medium inside the valve. Remove all the old packing completely; do not compress it all at once, but tighten it gradually after the valve is opened.
The key lies in the cut and how it is made. Generally, the cut should be at a 45-degree angle, and the compression ring should be used to press the two cuts together vertically, which ensures a good sealing effect
