I would like to ask fellow experts: the brick channels on the doors of our 6-meter top-mounted coke ovens are often damaged. Could anyone provide information and pictures on how to modify these brick channels on such ovens? Thank you!

The parts most likely to get damaged are probably the refractory bricks rather than the brick channels. Are the upper brick channels or the lower ones the ones that are most severely damaged? There shouldn’t be any problems with the coal loading height of you, right? Is the temperature in the burner channel high?
Coal is loaded from the top at a height of six meters; if there are problems with the brick slots in the furnace door, it may be due to air leaking in through the small furnace door, resulting in localized high temperatures.
