Some so-called experts claim that the dry gas yield can reach 15% – what kind of absurd process is that? How is it possible to make money with that? I know that the dry gas yield for this process is less than 2%.
To carry out cracking, 12–18% dry gas is required, which is why it has not been widely adopted yet.
Depending on the plans of each plant, some need to produce more dry gas to obtain lower-carbon hydrocarbons. Please pay attention to the catalytic cracking research at the Institute of Petrology.
