Check whether there are wire numbers on the wires inside the cable, and whether the wires have different colors; this makes handling them easier, as they can be connected based on the same wire number or color. If the aforementioned markings are not present, the multi-core control cable must be strung. Multi-core cables usually have one core whose color differs from that of the other wires, which can be selected as a reference line. Use a multimeter or a cable tester to short the reference wire to one end of any other selected wire, and then measure whether the other end is conductive. Mark the wire for which conduction is to be measured arbitrarily. Similarly, the same treatment is applied to the other cable. After all the wire measurements are completed, connect all the wires at the broken points of the two severed cables using the corresponding markings; after applying insulation, power can be supplied. Of course, it is more reliable to conduct a test verification after connecting the wires.

After connecting the wires, be sure to take proper insulation measures.
If the wire has a cross-sectional area of 1.5 square millimeters or more, find an experienced electrician to connect it according to the specifications, ensuring proper insulation and waterproofing. If the wire gauge is less than 1.5 square millimeters (especially for flexible wires), it is advisable to solder the connection points after making the connection, and then providing insulation and waterproofing to ensure reliability.
As long as you handle it properly, there will be no issues with the signal.
