I work at a company that produces lithium carbonate powder. To meet the environmental regulations of recent years, our factory purchased a bag filter from an equipment manufacturer in Guangxi. At first, the dust removal performance was good, but after some time, a large amount of BaS and dust deposits accumulated on the bags, making it difficult to clean them. I would like to ask the experts here for help and some advice on how to deal with this issue
Typical bag dust collectors are equipped with pulse functions, which are used to clean the bags on a regular basis. If cleaning is needed while the machine is shut down, it can only be done manually, and protective gear must be worn at that time. The bags in bag filters generally cannot be cleaned; cleaning them damages the filtering pores of the bags, reducing their dust-collecting efficiency. It also affects the strength and lifespan of the bags. The bags in operation are cleaned by backflow air. It is necessary to stop the machine periodically and carry out manual shaking to remove any deposits or scabs from the surface
1. Increase the backflush frequency. 2. Increase the frequency of pulse air jetting. 3. Replace the filter bags with ones having a larger pore size. 4. Consult the manufacturer
