When buying a phone on Taobao, is the quality of the phone reliable?

I want to buy the Samsung I5800 on Taobao. Is the quality of this phone reliable? I don’t want to end up with a refurbished phone; I really need a genuine one. Please advise me
It’s okay; my colleague bought several of them. The key is to find the right store – one with a good reputation, preferably one with a physical store in the same area. It’s best to go and check it out in person, as that gives you the most peace of mind

Last month, I considered buying a 11-inch or 15-inch Alien from Dell in Taiwan; after much deliberation, and after seeing people paying high prices for defective units with damaged internals, I ultimately gave up. I bought a 4750 with warranty. . . .

Go and buy it from Fantasia; they specialize in imported phones. I’ve been to their physical store, and the packaging there is simple. The staff explained that that’s just how imported phones are packaged
