Who knows which coal chemical projects are planned for construction in China or are already under construction? Mainly, it has not yet been put into operation. Also, what are the main products? How much to invest? What technologies to use, and so on.
There are many; I basically have information on all the projects that are planned for construction in China
There’s a lot of information available in Haichuanli; for more detailed information, it’s necessary to find a good agent
The coal-to-gas project of Qinghua Energy Group, with a total investment of 27.8 billion yuan and a designed annual production capacity of 5.5 billion cubic meters, is expected to consume 20 million tons of coal per year. The project will be built in four production lines; the capacity of the first production line is 1.375 billion cubic meters per year, and it is scheduled to go into operation by the end of 2011. The second, third, and fourth production lines will be constructed simultaneously, with completion expected in 2013. The synthetic natural gas produced by the project will be entirely fed into the West-to-East Gas Transmission pipeline network. CEEC Xinjiang Company has also fueled a construction boom in the Ili River Valley, investing 100 billion yuan in two coal-to-gas projects in Yinan and Huocheng, with a total capacity of 12 billion cubic meters per year. The groundbreaking ceremonies for these two projects were held in November 2009. The main construction work for the Inan coal-to-gas project’s plant area was completed last year, and construction of the plant is planned to begin this year ; The site of the Huocheng coal-to-gas project has been leveled, and construction has begun in the area in front of the plant. The Zhundong region, which corresponds to the Ili River Valley, saw the commencement of Phase 1 of its coal-to-gas project in September 2010; this phase has an annual production capacity of 4 billion cubic meters and was funded by Huaneng Xinjiang Energy Development Co., Ltd. with an investment of 23 billion yuan. Currently, the project has completed the demonstration of the gasification process plan as well as the bidding for survey and design work. The quality monitoring work for the environmental impact assessment of the 4 billion Nm3/year coal-to-natural gas project, for which Jiangsu Xuzhou Mining Group has invested a total of 22 billion yuan, was successfully completed. Datang International has invested 22.6 billion yuan in Keshiketeng Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, to build a facility capable of producing 12 million standard cubic meters of natural gas per day (with 8,000 hours of operation per year, resulting in an annual output of 4 billion standard cubic meters of natural gas); construction on this project has already begun. The project includes the construction of a 448-kilometer pipeline to deliver natural gas to Beijing. The environmental impact assessment for Liaoning Datang International Fuxin coal-to-natural gas project is currently in the public disclosure phase, and the scale of this project is identical to that of the Chifeng project. The project includes the construction of a 1,100-kilometer pipeline to supply natural gas to cities such as Shenyang and Dalian. The 1.6 billion standard cubic meter coal-to-natural gas project invested by Inner Mongolia HuiNeng Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. in Ordos is in the preliminary stage of feasibility study. Huayin Power and Guangdong Foshan Public Utilities Holding Company have established a joint venture to invest in the construction of a coal-to-natural gas project with a capacity of 1.5 billion standard cubic meters. Shenhua Ningmei Group is also actively exploring the feasibility of building coal-to-natural gas projects. The groundbreaking ceremony for Xinjiang Longyu Energy’s Zhundong project, which has an annual production capacity of 4 billion cubic meters of coal-to-natural gas, was held in grand style at the Coal-to-Gas Industrial Park of Xinjiang Longyu Energy in Jiji Lake Park, Qitai County, Changji Prefecture. Jiugang Group Company signed a contract for a 4 billion cubic meter coal-to-natural gas cogeneration project in Zhangye City; this project is one of the key projects in Gansu Province in 2011, with a total investment of 22 billion yuan.
It is said that Lenovo plans to invest 18 billion yuan in building coal-to-natural gas facilities in Shandong; it’s not clear whether this is true. Where does coal come from?
That’s not all. . . Ask Google.
