For combustible gas detection instruments that require alarm functionality on-site, does the signal to activate the alarm come from the detection instrument or from the controller?
The controller provides power, while the detector sends signals.
Now, combustible gas alarms are required to have audible and visual alarms on-site. The acoustic and optical alarm is driven by the on-site instrument.
A sound and light alarm on the strap at the site will do; a small speaker and a flashing light on the watch itself.
