Can a stove be a device without an open flame?

According to the definition of open-flame equipment: (GB50160: Heating equipment and waste gas incineration equipment whose combustion chamber is connected to the atmosphere, and in which flames are exposed under abnormal conditions), I would like to ask: Is a furnace necessarily open-flame equipment? If the combustion chamber is not connected to the atmosphere, then the furnace is not a device that uses an open flame. This is just my personal opinion; please let me know if I’m wrong! !
The second part refers to heating equipment in which flames are exposed under abnormal conditions. I’m wondering: even though your furnace is isolated from the atmosphere, can it be ensured that no flames will appear under abnormal conditions? If not, it should be considered an open-flame device
