I would like to ask everyone about the methods for measuring polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons; the simpler and more straightforward methods would be best, preferably those that do not require chromatography. Thank you
This post was last edited by qugd on 2011-5-16 21:13. It depends on the ring distribution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the sample. If there are not many species, UV absorption spectroscopy or UV fluorescence spectroscopy can be used for analysis. If there are many species and a wide distribution, chromatographic methods are more reliable.
