What is the color of the newly prepared phenolphthalein solution?
The newly formulated Benfield absorption solution should be light yellow-brown in color. Its specific components are as follows: (by weight) K2CO3 (total alkalinity): 30%; the main absorbent, DEA (diethanolamine): 3–4%; catalyst, V2O5: 0.58%; corrosion inhibitor, UCON-50HB-5100: in trace amounts; defoamer (polyethylene glycol oil)
