The key lies in the selection made during design; the quality of this selection determines whether the valve is suitable for the given operating conditions. As long as it isn’t a custom-made valve, there should be no problems. Domestic valves are quite good when it comes to check valves
The quality of domestic check valves has certain issues; those from several manufacturers are not very good. I wonder which brand everyone is using?

A check valve is a type of valve, but it does not serve to shut off flow. Whether it is American standards, Chinese standards, or international standards, for metal-to-metal sealing, the allowable leakage amount (sealing grade) of check valves is **lower than that of gate valves and globe valves.
Check valves are used in combination with gate valves or globe valves; in our company’s oil pipelines, the check valve and the gate valve are placed right next to each other
