Recently, I encountered a renovation project in which an existing heat network heater was to be reused within an old system. However, the diameter of the steam and hot water pipes in the original system was relatively small; as a result, the flow rate might be only half that of the new heater. I would like to know what problems could arise during the operation of the system under such circumstances, and what diameter would be appropriate for the drain pipes in the system
One more thing: could this situation lead to insufficient hydrophobic pressure, and would it be necessary to address this by installing a hydrophobic pump?
