What is the numbering rule for pipeline layout diagrams?

I still haven’t found a standard for numbering pipeline layout diagrams, but I usually create them based on experience, and my experience is； 1. First, assign a sequence number to each pipe (one number for each pipe, from one connection point to the next). The connection points can start with valves, elbows, or reducers. For pipes with many branches, additional branch numbers can be assigned to distinguish the media within those pipes). 2. It is to include the diameter of the pipeline. 3. It is to include the material of the pipeline. 4. Finally, add the medium inside the pipeline. Normal is fine. For example: The meaning of 02031-159-1Cr18Ni9Ti-O2 ； 02 is the second main storyline. 031 Article 31 Branch lines. 159 indicates that the pipe diameter is 159. 1Cr18Ni9Ti represents pipeline materials as 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel pipes. O2 indicates that the medium inside the pipeline is oxygen. Finally, it should be noted that no matter how you arrange it, you need to explain your method of arrangement in the technical specifications; even if it does not meet the standards, it is still very useful. Reply to 2#: Advantages, dude. I’m talking about the drawing number for the pipe layout diagram – how to write it. In other words, it concerns how to write the drawing number in the title bar of each piping layout diagram.
Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t understand. Pipe layout drawings are usually divided into several pages, such as 1/5, 2/5, ... 5/5, and so on. It depends on how many pages of layout drawings you have........
I’m not sure about other departments, but in our case it’s usually Project Number – Specialty Code – Sequence Number – Drawing Number. The sequence number for the installation drawings is usually 4 or 5, while the drawing number is formatted as XX-An-4-1
