Dear experts, I would like to ask whether condensate recovered from the recycling process has any impact on the resins in the demineralized water mixed-bed? What would be the impact if there is one? Thank you. Note: We use the ammonia synthesis process.
What is contained in the process condensate collected by the poster? If it is steam condensate, it can be used directly; however, if it contains many other substances, it does have an impact on the mixed-bed resins.

Process condensate containing ammonia and methanol must be sent to wastewater treatment and cannot be recycled to the demineralized water mixed bed.
Reply to 4# 654262293: I forgot to add that our process condensate is recovered after low-pressure stripping. After recovery, the analysis showed that parameters such as conductivity and pH were normal; however, recovering it to the demineralized water mixed-bed significantly shortened the service life of that mixed-bed.
Was it stripped with low-pressure steam? Generally, after steam stripping, only a portion of the ammonia and methanol can be removed; it is suitable to send it to wastewater treatment, but it is not appropriate to send it to the demineralized water mixed-bed for recovery.
