On site, I observed that some turbine backpressure steam outlet manual valves were equipped with check valves, while most did not have them. The backpressure steam valve in question does have a check valve; when using this steam for warming up, the heating can only reach up to the location of the check valve. I’m not sure why such a design was chosen I’d like to ask everyone.
Are there no cross-line valves for the turbine backpressure steam outlet manual valve and check valve? If not, then there’s no need to warm up the engine with back pressure.
The outlet equipped with a check valve is mainly used to prevent unsafe steam leakage from the system; warming up can be done by venting through the safety valve bypass at the outlet.

We don’t use KKK company’s turbines very often. Back-pressure warming involves closing the steam inlet valve, allowing the exhaust steam to flow back into the machine before being discharged from it, thereby achieving the purpose of warming up the machine.
