Our company’s deaerator is equipped with a differential pressure level gauge, and electric heating has been installed to prevent this gauge from being damaged by freezing in winter. Recently, there have been frequent instances where the limit is exceeded instantly, triggering an alarm, only for things to return to normal again; this phenomenon occurs quite often. The instrument functions normally after the electric heating is turned off. Please, senior colleagues, help analyze it – there must be a reason! Thank you!
I’ve seen similar introductions. The temperature of the electric heating element exceeding the boiling point of the isolation fluid causes the isolation fluid to boil and vaporize, resulting in errors. The solution is to control the temperature of the electric heating.
I guess the heat tracing can be removed these days as well
