ASCO551 solenoid valve failure

We use ASCO 551 solenoids for one of our valves, but it often fails to open. The problem is resolved after replacing the coil, yet upon checking the solenoid coil itself, no issues are found. How can we determine the cause? It’s really frustrating!
Our factory’s 551 solenoid valves have also encountered this problem; the main issue is that the valves often fail to open. After taking the solenoid valves apart, it turned out that the valve core was damaged, resulting in excessive friction – even a small amount of debris could prevent proper operation. The coils have not been replaced; instead, the entire valve unit has to be replaced. I guess this is also the reason for the problem the original poster is facing!
