Asphalt high-level tank outlet valve

Dear colleagues: The outlet valve of the asphalt sump always has to be opened by heating it with fire. Is there any other way to open this valve? Like electric heating? Thank you
Reply to 1# todd2004: That’s right; asphalt tank trucks are heated using fire, otherwise the valves cannot be opened. Generally, asphalt valves come equipped with insulation jackets, into which high-temperature steam or high-temperature heat transfer oil is pumped. It’s not practical to use electric heating for the valves, as it’s difficult to ensure even heating of those valves. Moreover, simply insulating the valves isn’t enough – the asphalt in the pipelines adjacent to the valves also needs to be melted. If fire is used, then that’s fine; asphalt tank trucks have a dedicated combustion system for heating the asphalt. If you want to save trouble, buy a set; there are those that use gas and those that use oil. .
