I would appreciate some guidance from experts: Can a solenoid valve be used directly to control water flow? For hydration, or for draining water?
The first solenoid valve has a small diameter and is not suitable for use directly in pipelines. The second solenoid coil poses a risk of electric leakage, representing a safety hazard; unless a dedicated solenoid valve is used, it is not recommended to employ it directly
Solenoid valves are usually used in conjunction with coils; by applying or removing electricity, they control the opening and closing of the air supply, thereby controlling the opening and closing of the valve. A solenoid valve should be considered a control element, rather than a valve that we typically use for switching on and off.
