I work with oleic fatty acids. In the tank where these fatty acids are stored, the discharge temperature is high and there is a lot of smoke; I want to use a fan to carry the odor away from the top of the tank. However, several fans I tried didn’t work well and tended to break down easily. I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions
Since the temperature is high, isn’t the entire chimney in trouble? The kind used on home water heaters – you can make one by using some tin sheets; or even a brick-built one, the kind used in rural areas where firewood is used for heating. It doesn’t cost much at all, and any two laborers can do it for you. .
