Problem with the on/off cycling of a gear pump; seeking advice. .

Diethylene glycol is being transported using a gear pump. The temperatures of the motor, gearbox, and pump body are all within normal ranges, and the pressure remains stable; yet the pump keeps stopping unexpectedly. Please help find a solution
Reply 1# wcj13913790090: It’s probably caused by an excessive gap between the rotating heart-shaped component and the central axis! Gear pumps are suitable for transporting oily media. Our company used gear pumps to handle acidic media in the past, and we encountered the same problems you mentioned – the central gear sleeves had to be replaced frequently. Eventually, we purchased a plastic pump, which is both cost-effective and practical!
Check whether the feeding is continuous; it is also recommended to verify that the feed inlet is unobstructed
