I have a question: Can an office for long-term use be set up next to the power distribution room (separated by a solid wall)? Are there any legal regulations? Thank you.
Yes, in small factories, the voltage transformation and power distribution are usually arranged directly in the office building. According to the Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings: 3.3.14 Substations and power distribution stations shall not be located within or adjacent to factories of Class A or B, nor shall they be placed in areas prone to explosive gases or dusts.

It can be arranged, but it is not allowed to combine offices, rest rooms, and explosion-proof workshops in the same building; if construction is necessary, there must be explosion-proof separation measures. Additionally, the power distribution room and the workshops should not be connected by windows, at least that’s my understanding
