The post does not clearly state what kind of heavy metals are involved; generally, metal ions such as copper, nickel, iron, etc., can be recovered through ion exchange resin processes involving adsorption, elution, and concentration, provided that their concentration is sufficient. Things like sodium sulfate, for example; if necessary, electrical desalination or ion exchange membranes can be used!

Heavy metal ions are easy to remove, but sodium ions are not. Reverse osmosis membrane treatment can be considered.
Hehe, I was also thinking about ways to solve this problem last year; ion exchange membranes might be a good option, but it’s hard to say anything about the cost
I am also working on this area. Our factory deals with acidic dye wastewater, using electrodialysis and exchange column methods.
The reverse osmosis system can solve it! !
