Remove the cracked parts, then rust them off and dry them out, before applying the coating again
Analyzing the reasons is necessary before making repairs. There may be problems with the anti-corrosion materials, the anti-corrosion methods, or the selection and ratio of materials used for anti-corrosion. Only by identifying these problems can similar issues be avoided.
Proper handling is needed for cracks; some corrosion-resistant materials can also be added to the cement. It’s clear that the anti-corrosion measures aren’t effective enough. In cases of severe corrosion, applying a layer of fiberglass-reinforced plastic for protection should yield good results
The cost of redoing the work is too high. Our company has encountered similar situations before; the solution adopted was to grind away the anti-corrosion layer and the concrete layer at the cracked area, and then pour in corrosion-resistant expansion adhesive to fill the cracks inside the concrete. Then apply anti-corrosion treatment once more on the outside. The performance is decent; it’s good, and it has worked well so far. :lol:lol
