We have a Rosemount 3051S transmitter here, and the pressure readings are low during the day but high at night. Why is that? ? ? ? I earnestly request advice from all the experts. Urgent! ! !
Is it due to the temperature? Check the transmitter.

Check the instruments first. If the instrument is fine, then it’s related to the medium being measured. I think it has something to do with the measuring medium; generally, the pressure is high during the day and low at night.
Is there a pressure guide tube? Sometimes, fluid accumulates in the pressure guide tube at night, and evaporation during the day can also cause similar phenomena.
Is the medium you are measuring a gas with high volatility and a low boiling point? At night, when the temperature is low, a liquid column forms in the pressure guiding tube, while during the day, when the temperature is high, it evaporates! !

What we are measuring is chlorine gas. Since it is to be used in a chain reaction, we installed two pressure transmitters at the same location; the problem occurred with one of them, while the other one remained stable.
Use the elimination method; switch the wiring for the two transmitters. Alternatively, try using a different transmitter; it seems that the issue is caused by interference or the location mentioned upstairs.
