There is toluene, xylene. Cyclohexane. Ethanol, etc. Refer to the fourth edition of the Chemical Process Design Manual, which states that the flow rate for flammable and explosive liquids should be less than one meter per second. However, the flow velocities specified in the safety facility design for this project are limited to 3 meters per second, with the reference being the Second Edition of the Comprehensive Book on Safety Technology for Hazardous Chemicals. Now, due to a series of issues such as the large diameter involved, it is urgent for everyone to provide some clarification. What exactly should be the flow rate for Class A liquids? Also, please list the reference standards or relevant materials. If there is a second edition related to hazardous chemicals, please upload it as well! I have the first edition, which is the second version; it doesn’t mention the issue of flow rate.
