Why is the pressure in the fractionation tower the same as that in the side-stream tower? The pressure in the fractionation tower is the same as that in the jet fuel side column and the oil side column.
The side line generally doesn’t have pressure control; there is a gas connection between the top and the fractionation tower, so the pressure remains normal!
Unless the side-line tower supplies too much steam, then it’s different
