Manual control of the PID valve position feedback instrument cannot perform automatic adjustment; it doesn’t work

It is a 160*80 PID controller with valve position feedback; the control output is 4-20MA, the transmission output is also 4-20MA, the control input is 4-20MA, and the feedback input is 4-20MA. It has upper and lower limit alarms, and it operates on AC220V power. On-site, manual adjustment works while automatic adjustment does not – what could be the reason?
Automatic adjustment doesn’t work – what does that mean? Is it that no output is generated, or is the output incorrect? Check the PID parameters as well as the forward and reverse actions

There is an issue with the PID parameter settings; increase the P value
