The medium flowing through the three-way valve with a Fox L-type soft-seal valve seat is slurry, and the problem is that the valve either cannot be opened or closed. How can such issues be avoided without replacing the valve? Please help analyze this situation.

No, generally a three-way valve cannot be closed for several reasons: 1, the sealing ring is damaged; 2, over time, the position of the valve and its actuator may change slightly. In such cases, it is usually sufficient to adjust the travel adjustment screw of the pneumatic actuator. I’m not sure if by “can’t be opened” you mean that air has been supplied to the valve, but it still doesn’t move?
