At present, the filter media used in the dryers of our system are mainly G3 filters; however, they need to be replaced after about a week. Additionally, the pressure drop across the demister in the dryers increases rapidly, requiring cleaning every approximately 2 months. I wonder if anyone has any good suggestions?
There is a problem with the system; is it sublimated sulfur or something else on the air distribution plate and the drying defoaming mesh? For the demisting screen in the drying tower, we use metal material.

We used only one layer, as the design called for just one layer from the start. There’s too much dust, making it difficult to clean; it needs to be replaced after a short time, and it’s also very expensive. I’m not sure if there are any good alternatives.

Some factories use filter cloths made of synthetic fibers, which can be removed and cleaned.
The filter area can be increased, with one filter in use and another as a backup; they are replaced and cleaned regularly for reuse.
At our factory, sponges are used at the inlet of the fans in the old sulfuric acid system, and the result is quite good
