Our company has 3 screw pumps manufactured by Jiangxi Xinde, and they have been stopping suddenly frequently lately; after stopping, they can be started up again immediately on site. Contact the electrical department to find out the cause; the electrical team replied that there is no fault ; Checking with the instrument also showed no faults. I would appreciate some guidance from those who are more experienced.
Please describe the pump in detail`! ! Regarding the shutdown, I think it’s possible that if the equipment hasn’t been inspected or maintained, then it would be worth checking the manufacturing process as well. It’s also a good idea to ask whether the electrical instruments show any fault alarms that led to the shutdown
Our company has encountered such problems; the usual cause is hard particles getting into the pump
Check the pump filter for any damage. Turn the shaft for inspection.
In this case, it is necessary to check the interlock to see if there are any abnormalities with its sensors or components. Bring the interlocking diagram
It is best to upload a control diagram; it might be a control software fault.
If the performance of the pump does not change before and after shutdown, it is likely not a problem with the pump. Check whether there are any changes in the material being transported, and also examine the electrical control system
First, check for any shutdowns; second, verify that the process interlocks and operating parameters are correct; finally, only then open it to check for any obstructions or other mechanical faults.
The pump outlet is blocked; check the outlet pipeline!
As the weather gets hotter, and if the motor is overloaded or if the bearing temperature exceeds the interlock value, this can also lead to a sudden shutdown. If not, restart and check for vibration as well as any abnormal noises.
